Bassel Massamiri
Founder, Cloud Strategies
Bassel Massamiri is the founder of Cloud Strategies. He has spent 11 years in IT, first as a consultant and managed services provider for small and medium businesses, then as the subject matter expert for Google Workspace, Google Cloud and Atlassian at a large Canadian enterprise, where he supports more than 10,000 users and leads a cloud collaboration team.
For the past 11 years he has been the main technical contact for SME owners: scoping and prioritizing their projects, writing proposals and quotes, and leading Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 migrations, file-server moves to SharePoint Online, and server migrations to Azure or Google Cloud. That is exactly the kind of work Cloud Strategies offers today.
In the enterprise world, he has led the Google Workspace side of mergers, acquisitions and carve-outs involving thousands of users on fixed deadlines, run an email-security program that cut malicious and unwanted email by 95 percent, written dozens of automations in Apps Script, Python and GAM, and guided a generative AI pilot from testing and security review through to a wider rollout. Much of his work sits between technical teams and the business: getting security, legal and HR aligned, and making sure projects actually ship.
Outside work he builds AI tools hands-on, which keeps him close to how these technologies actually work. He holds Google Cloud and Microsoft certifications, has a background in economics and banking, and works equally well in French and English.

Three Python agents connected to the Interactive Brokers API and Google Sheets, built with Claude Code.

What we guarantee
- Your data is never sent to an AI tool without your prior written authorization.
- No passwords, no access keys and no personal information about your clients are entered into an AI tool.
- Everything delivered is checked by a person before the handover: configurations, scripts, automations and documents.
- We remain responsible for the result, whether AI was used or not.
How we use AI
- Writing and translating documentation, guides and emails, reviewed by us.
- Help writing and reviewing code and scripts, tested before use.
- Research and summaries of public technical documentation.
What we do not do
- We do not let an AI tool act on its own in your systems.
- We do not use your data to train a model.
- We do not present AI-generated content as professional advice without checking it.
Your choice
- You can ask that no AI tool be used in your engagement. We then state it in the proposal and respect it.
- You can ask for the list of AI tools used in an engagement.
